New Voter Registration के लिए Form 6 भरना होता है। ECI Unified Portal पर भी “New Voter Registration — Fill Form 6” दिया गया है।
Voter Card Kaise Banaye? Step-by-Step Process
अगर आपकी age 18 years या उससे ज्यादा है, या आप eligible qualifying date तक 18 साल के हो रहे हैं, तो आप घर बैठे online voter card के लिए apply कर सकते हैं। ECI की Hindi FAQ के अनुसार eligible Indian citizens 01 January, 01 April, 01 July और 01 October जैसी qualifying dates के आधार पर voter registration कर सकते हैं।
Step 1: Official Website Open करें
सबसे पहले https://voters.eci.gov.in/ open करें।
यह Election Commission of India का official Voters’ Services Portal है।
Step 2: Sign Up / Login करें
Website पर जाकर अपना mobile number या email से account बनाएं।
OTP verify करने के बाद login करें।
Step 3: “New Voter Registration” चुनें
Login के बाद New Voter Registration option पर जाएं।
यहां आपको Form 6 fill करना होगा, क्योंकि Form 6 new voters के लिए होता है। ECI के Form 6 PDF में इसे “Application Form for New Voters” बताया गया है।
Step 4: Personal Details भरें
Form में ये details भरनी होंगी:
नाम
Date of Birth
Gender
Mobile Number
Email ID
Father/Mother/Husband/Wife/Guardian का नाम
Current address
State, District, Assembly Constituency
ध्यान रखें: नाम और spelling Aadhaar/PAN/10th marksheet जैसे documents से match रखें।
Step 5: Documents Upload करें
आपको age proof और address proof upload करना होगा।
Age Proof के लिए:
Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Class 10/12 Certificate, Indian Passport आदि documents Form 6 में listed हैं।
Address Proof के लिए:
Electricity/Water/Gas Bill, Aadhaar Card, Bank/Post Office Passbook, Indian Passport, Registered Rent Agreement, Sale Deed आदि accepted documents में आते हैं।
Step 6: Photo Upload करें
Recent passport size colour photo upload करें।
ECI guidelines के अनुसार photo white background में clear face के साथ होनी चाहिए।
Step 7: Declaration भरें
Declaration में confirm करना होगा कि आप Indian citizen हैं, दिए गए address पर रहते हैं, और आपका नाम पहले से किसी voter list में registered नहीं है।
गलत जानकारी देना punishable offence हो सकता है, इसलिए details carefully भरें।
Step 8: Preview करके Submit करें
Form submit करने से पहले पूरा preview check करें।
Name, address, DOB और documents सही हैं या नहीं, यह जरूर verify करें।
Submit करने के बाद आपको Acknowledgement Number / Reference ID मिलेगा। इसे screenshot या note करके रख लें।
Step 9: Application Status Track करें
Status check करने के लिए official portal पर जाएं:
https://voters.eci.gov.in/home/track
यहां acknowledgement/reference number डालकर application status देख सकते हैं।
Step 10: Verification और Voter Card Delivery
Application submit होने के बाद BLO/ERO आपकी details verify कर सकते हैं। Verification complete होने के बाद आपका नाम voter list में add होगा और EPIC/Voter ID card जारी किया जाएगा। ECI guidelines के अनुसार enrolment के बाद EPIC दिए गए postal address पर speed post से भेजा जा सकता है।
Important Note
अगर आपका voter card पहले से बना हुआ है और आपको address change, correction या duplicate EPIC चाहिए, तो Form 6 नहीं, बल्कि Form 8 भरना होता है। ECI forms list में Form 8 correction, shifting और replacement EPIC के लिए दिया गया है।

Voter Card बनाने के लिए official website voters.eci.gov.in पर जाकर Form 6 भरें, documents upload करें, form submit करें और acknowledgement number से status track करें. पूरा process online हो जाता है, बस details और documents सही होने चाहिए.
